Agricultural and Financial Management, Inc.
Marty Connell Agricultural and Financial Management, Inc., was founded in 1985 by Dr. Martin R. Connell, a retired veterinarian who had owned and operated a large mixed practice in Northeastern Montana for 19 years as well as a veterinary drug supply company which served seven states.
Having negotiated the sale of that business and working himself out of a feed lot operation after the disaster of the market in 1980, Marty discovered his talents in negotiating workout and turn-around arrangements with financial institutions that had over-exposed themselves in the agricultural arena in Eastern Montana.
This experience launched a journey that developed into a wide range of new
ventures for Dr. Connell.
His company handles trusts, operating as trustee for individuals, farms, and corporations.
The business assists in developing estate plans, management for farm and ranch operations, brokering businesses, or the liquidation of assets.
Marty is well-respected as an expert witness and is accredited in Business Valuation and conducts chattel appraisals. He negotiates compromises with the IRS on behalf of clients.
The company is hired by banks, The Small Business Administration, and the Bankruptcy Courts for the liquidation of companies, for settlements, and receiverships.
The office includes a staff of four talented people who handle the day-to-day operations of the business.
Throughout the years they have worked with over 30 law firms in several states, 15 banks and financial institutions, personal financiers, and 12 accounting firms.
